Our Story
Trivium Homes was founded on a simple belief: building a custom home should be one of the most exciting experiences of your life — not one of the most stressful. We set out to create a process that is transparent, collaborative, and focused on delivering a home you'll love for a lifetime.
Rooted in the Upstate since 2005, we have personally built over 200 custom and production homes across Greenville, Travelers Rest, Anderson, Simpsonville, and the surrounding communities. Every project, regardless of size, receives the same hands-on attention and commitment to excellence.

Meet the Owner
Jim Kyker began his career managing construction projects as a Combat Engineer Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. After relocating his family to the Upstate in 2005, he devoted himself to homebuilding — working through every role in the industry before founding Trivium.
What sets Jim apart is his intentionality. He doesn't hand off projects and disappear. He is present at every major milestone, conducts the final quality walk before orientation, and remains accessible throughout the entire build. When you build with Trivium, you build with Jim.

How We Work
From your first conversation to move-in day, we guide you through every phase with transparency, collaboration, and hands-on attention. No surprises — just a well-run build you can feel confident about.
We begin by understanding your goals, budget, and vision. Together we'll select an inspiration plan and build a thorough, fixed-cost proposal — so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
You'll work directly with an architect and an interior designer to customize every detail of your home. These architectural and design services are included in your fixed price — no surprises.
Daily on-site supervision, weekly updates, and direct access to your project manager from first pour to final walkthrough. Jim conducts a personal quality walk before you ever step inside.
